Client: Savannah College of Art and Design

Objective: To overcome public criticism of the Savannah College of Art and Design merging with the Atlanta College of Art.

Students from the Atlanta College of Art picketed and disrupted public appearances in an effort to keep the SCAD Atlanta from merging with the Atlanta College of Art.

Dickerson Communications engaged local and national media to enhance the public image of the college, crafted op-eds in several publications and escorted reporters on tours of the college's facilities in Atlanta and Savannah. The ACA board approved the merger.

SCAD Atlanta has since grown from 70 students to 1,700, and continues to attract arts students from across the region and the nation.
